538 community members took Survey #1 to tell us what they love about their neighborhoods, what they’d like to see improved, and what matters most to protect as Gulf Shores grows. We’ve been reading through every response, and the results are now ready for you to explore.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts! Your input from this survey, together with feedback from the July open house, has helped shape the Draft Vision and Goals for The Gulf Shores Plan.

We’re back at the shores with new dates!
On Thursday, October 29, from 5:00–7:00 PM, join us for a guided walking tour and help us see Gulf Shores through your eyes. Space is limited, so please RSVP through this link.
On Friday, October 30, from 4:30–7:00 PM, come tailgate with us before the GSHS football game! Find our table at the Gulf Shores Sports Complex parking lot.
Open House Tailgate and Walking Tour POSTPONED Due to Weather
With a tropical storm in the forecast, we're postponing the Gulf Shores Plan Open House Tailgate (Thursday, October 8) and Walking Tour (Friday, October 9). Your safety matters most.
Thank you to everyone who planned to join us. We're working to reschedule and will share a new date as soon as it's set. In the meantime, stay safe and prepared, and keep an eye on this page for updates.

Join us for a Walking Tour!
Join the Gulf Shores Plan Team for a guided walk through Waterway Village to observe, compare, and discuss how Gulf Shores’ existing conditions inform the vision and goals for the forthcoming Comprehensive Plan
The tour will last just under an hour, with several stops for conversation and discussion. Plan for the full event to conclude within two hours.
Space is limited to 50 participants on a first come, first served basis.
The groups will meet and finish at 101 W Canal Dr, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
